I met Rachel in Choir my freshman year, and she had always struck me as a fun person. Just recently, though, she sent me a poem over AOL's Instant Messenger that was absolutely marvelous. I forced her to send me some other stuff to put on my site, which she did - you can read it below.
About herself she says "Hey! My name is Rachel Philpot and I am now a junior at Eatonville High School. I have been attending there for about 3 years now. Some of you might know me as the loud, funny girl. While others may see me as somewhat of a wierdo! All comedy aside, I'm a pretty cool person. I like to water ski, snowboard, listen to music, hang out with friends, outdoor stuff, cook, and my main reason for writing this, I live to write poetry. Yes that's right LIVE. It is an eternal outlet for me. It gives me a sense of belonging, and yet a sense of power and ability. Well, now that you have found out some more about me, I hope you keep an open mind and enjoy the works to come."
